Information: Southend Round Table are holding their annual Moonlight Colourthon event and need your assistance. We are looking for volunteers, over the age of 18, to assist us in marshalling the event. This is a fantastic event to be associated with and you will really enjoy being part of the team. You will be required to assist the walkers from 8 pm on the evening of 5th July 2008 starting in Chalkwell Park. If you can assist for a few hours, it would be greatly accepted. Information: Green Watch at southend fire station are completing the distance of a marathon by walking up and down southend pier in breathing apparatus. we are attempting to raise £4000 for the Neptune ward at southend hospital so they can purchase a brand new cot.On the day there will be stalls and fire engines.
